The first ski tour this winter led us into Ultental. We have chosen because of high avalanche alert level 3, a safe trip. The snow conditions were very good. Snow in Val d'Ultimo jendenfalls enough as you can see from the photos .
This ski tour you have to be patient, because after a short climb of about 200 Hm almost 6 km long flat passage follows the Klapfenbergtal. Then begins the actual Rise to the peak. Just before the summit we had to walk a few meters on foot, because it was too steep to ski to go high. Then we went over a ridge to the summit.
After a short rest, we took the 600 m long steep descent to attack. Charles had a good nose here, one by one we waved the virgin slope.
Nearly 100 Hm had again rise to the dream, such as soft Watta to get powder snow slopes.

Karl and I were traveling with new Stöckli touring skis. You have passed the test very well and I think we will have this winter is still very much enjoy these touring skis.
