Bitter cold it was -18 degrees at initial in Plaetzwiese, at Ponticello on the road to Prato Piazza. We then climbed over the Kaserbachtal and a high plateau overlooking the Three Peaks, the Little Gaisl.
impressive was the fantastic panoramic view at the top: From Großvenediger, Rieserferner in the north, with Plätzwiese Düren stone Fanes Senes Alm, Seekofel, Cristallo, Tofana and thousands of other peaks.
The descent in fluffy powder snow was already almost impossible to beat. After a quick photo shoot then a second rise followed by a very steep slope on the Fosses Riedl (2454) with an even steeper descent. Ross on the hut, we went back again the Plaetzwiese. Temperature: -16 °
